Here is my entry into the Monthy Target Shooting Challenge/Shoot for Rick. I apologize for the lame scope cam quality caused by direct sunlight leaking in between the side shot body and the scopes eyepiece. I forgot to install my shade over the gap 😠

  • Rifle: FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper .22 Caliber
  • Ammo: NSA 23 Grain, 217 sizing, HP Slugs
  • Speed: 925 FPS
  • Distance: 50 Yards
  • Target: 3/8" to 7/16" in diameter decorative sugar candy
  • Temperature: 88° F

Here's my submission to the #AirgunNation #monthlytargetchallenge . I used a Weihrauch HW97K .177 offhand from 30 yards to hit an #AirgunDepot exploding golf ball. This is all in preparation for the Taco Man Donnie Reedage and Tyler Patner (Tylermania) offhand shoot-off rematch. That's happening tomorrow, so stay tuned for the results! The Taco Man already won once, but Tylermania is a worthy opponent. Who will win the rematch? You'll just have to stay tuned to find out. I am ecstatic to see Rick Rehm is home and shooting, and as with the challenge itself, this shot is dedicated to him...

I couldn't help myself after seeing Hajimoto's post. I figured an offhand shot would be the most appropriate tribute to Mr. Rick. 

Here's the setup. AGD Golf Ball, Diana 430L .177, JSB Monsters Redesign. At the end of the challenge I have 15 of those pellets through the gun. They seem promising. On to the show.

Alright wrapping up the month of July...

@d12bn is taking the bacon to compliment the egg. He actually cut through the string (which was part of the original contest before I changed it to a frangible target dangling from a string) with a .177 Daystate Redwolf. I'm not sure how you pulled that one off because I hit a string many times and determined it couldn't be broken unless it was under tension. So great job d12bn!
