Moly lube for specific applications

Hello All,

I have a can of Birchwood Casey 40140 moly lube spray. Does anyone use this for their airguns, specifically the action and/or trigger mechanisms? Would there be any reason to not use this for either one of those applications on a pcp? I think this could help smooth out some rougher actions along with polishing the components.

Just keep it away from the transfer port, inside of air reservoir , reg, valve and pellet probe... great lube for action and trigger. Especially good on sear/trigger action and mechanical safety.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll make sure to use it sparingly, and to keep it away from the tp.

I avoid moly sprays, as it’s too hard to control where it goes, they contain volatiles that can cause problems and attack seals, and you generally only need a tiny dab. A small tube or jar of moly paste will last for years.
