Here is a LCD that I have just made for a .22 fac rapid showing the main components.

i don’t claim to have any magic formula or have come up with any radical ideas, I just copy other peoples and assemble them in such a way they seem to work quite well, easily out performing any that are available commercially.

This particular support in such a way that can be used as a slip on or screwcut for a theoben 15.76 mm barrel, the support has a series of baffles that slow the reflexes air while reducing weight but still maintaining strength for concentric alignment of all parts.

The endcap has a series of grooves allowing the 2 part expoxy to gain good adhesion

Here are the plain baffle washer with a bore between 0.5mm and 1.0mm larger than pellet Dia depending on the location in the tube, cages are made from 20mm plastic conduit, that will be wrapped in felt.

Fully assembled it measures 36mm x 250mm and weighs just 160grams.

It seems to work ok, let’s see what the resident rabbit population think about it.

the support has a series of baffles that serves to both slow down passage of reflexes air while reducing weight but still maintaining strength to ensure concentric alignment of all components.
