FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper .25 !!!!

Joe, I am not suggesting you do this right now😇 However at some stage please remove the shroud and show us where the barrel/liner ends in relation to the air cylinder.

reason, the old mk1 .25 was 36" long with a 600mm barrel,

the mk111 .25 SNIPER is 34.5" long with a 700mm barrel,

what sort of magic is this.

ps SWEET, enjoy.

I would be interested also...

I zero’d her @ 25 yards, after that she was same holing JSB 33.95’s and NSA 26.8’s. Then unfortunately today, I had to leave for work. Factory regulator is set @ about 125-130 bar, quick chronograph test of JSB 33.95 grain was 830 fps on the highest hammer spring tension setting (#7). Much more testing to come with posts in the future...

If there was ever a day I wanted to miss work...

😏

regards the hammer spring, Is 7 the highest, turning counter clockwise* starting from the tiny hole being at the bottom and the writing being the right way up would make 1 the highest.

* as per Donnie of Baker Airgun review.

please be kind if I am wrong.

If you are on the highest setting which is #7, it would be in the 6 o’clock position and #3 would be in the 12 o’clock position. The “adjust“ position is the lowest power position representing #0. Also, with the “adjust” position placed “down” (6 o’clock) at the lowest position, a 1.5mm allen wrench can be used to fine tune hammer tension.

[Note:] 1.5mm allen wrench

Counter clockwise = increases hammer tension

Clockwise = decreases hammer tension

Got my stock’s pic-rail & bipod, air cylinder pic-rail, sling studs, single shot tray, and DL external plenum installed. Trigger adjusted just right to my liking. A bit of tuning and I settled on 895fps for 60.4fpe with JSB King Heavy 33.95 grain on power #7. Also, on power #7 she’s giving me 945fps with NSA’ 26.8 HP slugs for 53.16fpe. With a 140 bar AMP regulator setting she has great harmony! The tuning process is very simple. The new hammer spring tension adjuster is genius as well!
