Mk2 valve housing in mk1 impact x?

Can anyone confirm if the new valve housing will fit into the impact x black tube housing? I want to upgrade my impact x to a mk2. What are the things I need to order? Do I just need the valve housing on the mk2, or do I also need the valve tube. What about the rod, spring, hammer, can I still use the same ones from my impact x. My gun model is 1841xx gen 3 impact x.

Can someone give me a list of parts I need to order to convert an impact x into an mk2?

Pull the parts diagrams from FXAirguns.com. If the numbers between the Impact and Impact MKII diagrams are the same, you should be good to go. Major difference is the Plenum, other than that, I'm told it's the same mechanics and parts. good luck

I just check and both mk1 and mk2 part list on FX site. Idk which parts I need but I'm guessing valve house and valve tube. But both are same part number on mk1 and mk2. I'm confused. Doesn't mk2 have larger valve house for the extra plenum? I don't get it. Where is the large plenum on the diagram? I thought the plenum is the valve housing. Cant order if I don't know what I need. They make it so hard.

Just tell them what you want to do, there should be a kit. If the girl doesn't know then a tech will help.

Ok. Tomorrow I'll just ask for mk2 kit and see if they can help me. Cause looking at the part diagram I have no club what parts to orders to fit and convert my impact x to the mk2. I remember Jon from fx USA said they will make a conversation kit.

Hi everybody . I need your help as well regarding valve housing Orings. My gun is a new impact x . I have 2 valve housings one is the stock (the original of the gun and the other is the older model without the 3 milling holes . Both of them have the same thread and are matching in the same valve tube. The difference is that the older type is using 3 orings 10.5 x2 and the newest one (as it came from factory with the gun) is using 2 orings 10.5 x2 and the third one is different.

In the parts diagram of fx if you check for impact x valve housing 3 orings are 10.5 x2. If you check in mkii page( probably the same vh for latest impact x ) one of the 3 orings code B29.1 is mentioned as 14x1.5.

That is my problem .14.5 is very big and thin and doesn’t making seal. Is obviously that is not matching.Icant even charge the gun with air. Is this code ( B 29.1- 14x1.5) a typing wrong in the diagram? If I try to fit any other size i can’t fit the valve housing in the plenum tube. Can anybody tell me the right size of this oring?

Thank you in advance.

You need a ValveHousing and a valvetube, new vh will not fit old vt.

Regarding oring, is wrong is 10*1.5 no 14 (fx schematics are wrong there)

So to convert to the mk2 all I need it the valve housing and valve tube correct? That's what I thought but wasn't sure. The valve housing is where it store its plenum right? I will try asking them for valve house and tube..I dont know why but it have same part numbers as the one on older impact. I hope they aren't they same thing. Sometime these company dont even know what they doing when they write these diagrams.

The valve tube acts as the plenum and is only 5cc larger on the MKII. Not worth the money you will spend in my opinion.

I heard from jon at usa said its 25% more volume. I'm guessing that's 5cc. But 5cc extra is better than none right? I guess it depends on the price. If its $100 or lower I'm ok with it. I'm only concern is they have the same part numbers on fx part diagram. I just hope they dont send my another mk1 valve house and tube that I already have. I want the new valves for the mk2.

I have the same trouble upgrading...please help us

MKII upgrade is a terrible investment with very little gain. You can have way more performance by adding a 6.35 or 6.5mm valve seat and a larger plenum. With the MKII upgrade you only gain 5cc of plenum volume. With an aftermarket plenum you can have up to 75cc or even more by combining the 75cc eccentric air tube made in Poland (my design copied from this forum 4-25-19) with an external plenum as I do. Michal's plenum from Poland was $140 shipped when I purchased mine (MKI or MKII). With a little port work on your brass inlet and pellet probe you can have a 70+ fpe .22 or 120+fpe .30

My gen 2 makes 132 fpe with a 66gn NSA slug at 948fps 150 bar. 50gr JSB does 1072 fps at 150 bar. I have Michal's eccentric air tube from Poland + a 20cc external plenum, a 6.35mm valve seat, a 4 gram hammer weight and porting. Total cost under $200
