MK1 FX Bobcat or Royale 22 questions?

They both have ST barrels that are made to work with JSB pellets so I would guess they are the same as the newer guns. As far as regulators, they are a sell's pitch. There are PCPs with valves that are just as efficient as regulators and the ES are the same. Regulators are great for upping the shot count in 177 and 22 cal guns but as long as the valve is efficient and the ES and SD are low, accuracy shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the info regarding the accuracy on the ST barrels it is much appreciated however I would like to know what owners of non regulated Bobcats and non regulated Royales are getting over their chrony string and what start fill pressure to get the flattest string and the number of shots because a well known long standing respected tuner has been known to remove FX regulators and toss them out and set them up unregulated.

I would like to see how the factory unregulated FX guns mentioned do and how the owners go about with their start fill pressure and shot string and number of shots. I understand it is one less thing to go wrong which would require periodic service.
