Missouri info

There is definitely some airgun action in Missouri - although it would help if you could narrow the region down a bit. I wouldn't say it's developed to the same level as Arizona, Michigan or Ohio, but it's there.
Wentzville (St. Louis area) - There is an an informal shoot-and-bull session every Friday morning at Josephville Machine & Gun. These folks tell me that there is also an airgun shoot once or twice a month at the St. Louis Benchrest Club that is open to the public.

Jefferson City - The guys at Capital Pawn are airgun buffs, and they tell me there is an informal shoot on Tuesday nights at JC, stop in and ask them for more info.

I also know there are some shooters around the Springfield MO area, but I haven't met them personally.

You may want to look under the "Missouri Fun Shoots" info on GTA, and check out the member maps both there and here on AGN. http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?board=77.0

I happen to live in Hell-inois, about an hour out of St. Louis. There appear to be enough shooters in Central/Southern IL and east central MO to have a good shoot and swap meet if one ever gets organized.

Mobilmail,
Thanks for the information... I am in Saint Charles not far from Benchrest Club, that's where we shoot archery 3d shoots never even thought about that as a air rifle place. I haven't picked a gun yet so I'm looking for all the places I can go and check things out. Where about in Illinois are you I work over at Scott Air force base here and there.

There is a small group of air rifle shooters that shoot at Ft. Osage Muzzle Loaders club and at Pioneer Gun Club both are located about 30 miles South East of Kansas City. We mostly shoot benchrest. Please feel free to contact me a PM message here would probably be the best way to reach me.

I shot the .22 games a few times, at the Knobtown range. Decent bunch of folks!

At Pioneer Gun Club we get together every Tuesday morning and sling some pellets down range. While the weather is warm we shoot outdoors at the McBride range that is the one South-East of KC about 30 miles more or less. We are located about midway between I-70 and 50 Highway East of Z highway in Johnson county. During the Winter we meet at the Brickyard range that is the one near Knobtown and shoot indoors.

The first Saturday of the month we meet at Ft. Osage Muzzle Loaders club near Elm, Mo just south of 50 Highway and east of Lone Jack 7 or 8 miles. There we shoot a 25 yd - meter benchrest match and also a 50 yard bench match USARBR targets and rules.

We would be very happy to have anyone that like to shoots air rifles come out and shoot with us!!!!!

I’m in the vandalia Illinois area ( definitely not like the northern residents lol) a meet , shoot, sell and trade would be great. I have a good location for something like this. Pm if interested

It’s the Highland rifle and pistol club. In the old days they would meet every Monday night in the winter for an indoor silhouette shoot, I don’t know if they still do or not. If I remember correctly they have info and contacts on their web page.

At least that is the group I know of, there could be others.
