I was aiming for his ear and I was a tad low, caught this guy chewing on the  soffit of my lower garage roof I just replaced last year ,the garage is surrounded by walnut trees, and they love to chew their way in and store the nuts, every year in the spring the garage is full of empty hulls, trying to keep it clean for more then one year in a row.

It’s definitely the other way around over here. Though our precious reds are a different species, threatened by the bullying american greys!

But I think that qualifies as a good shot.

Are you saying that the the gray squirrels are picking on the reds? What do you mean different species?

England has a different Red than America and the Grays are invaders there that cause destruction of the Reds to the point of extinction if people hadn’t started to do something about it.

I imaging they stole a ride on a sea transport like many invader species. That or they were introduced with no thought of consequences to native populations much like the pig and several other non native species to the Hawaiian Islands which were introduced by Captain Cook I believe. When people move around pest and weeds seem to move with them.
