Missed Four Shots in a Row .. Learned a Lot About The Wind !

Used my 25 cal Condor shooting JSB KH's at ground squirrels !

First 37 yard shot... perfect middle neck hold, wind blowing from left to right ... missed perfect head high, 2 inches to the right !

Second, Third and Fourth shot at 77yds ----- all shots were perfect elevation all shots to the right .. wind was really picking up from left to right ! I was aiming about 4-5 inches to the left and shots were landing about 2-3 inches to the right. I tried to judge for the wind speed, but it was gusting and not a chance. Must say I was impressed with the speed at which the pellets got there and the accuracy of the shots just missing to the right. All the pellets were shooting as good as I could hold in the wind for sure . I now know I need to hold off a ground squirrel body length (8") in this kind of wind !

PS: Just bought a wind meter from Midway !

No, but since I just bought a wind meter 10 minutes ago I will now the mph of the wind I'm shooting in from now on, and plug that in to my ChairGun Chart ;- )

I can tell you it is enough to blow my gun off the shooting rest on my truck !

I always have my gun in my hands .. the wind is crazy where I go. When going to the Victorville area or Lake Hughes area I get wind sometimes bad, but this area close to me is just off the charts. It is in the west Antelope Valley out of Lancaster, no mountains, just an open wind tunnel ;- )

"Regarval"Also have in mind most Airforce guns have a frame flex problem, this can be fix with a Maddog stock or if you don't want to spend any money try to hold the gun very lightly.
I have a few Condors and have not really noticed a flex problem, it maybe because of the Talon Tunes MKII grip adapter, I don't know ?
