Mid range scope with minimum focus distance ?

You are in a tough overall range with the low cost and short parallax (and springer survivability). However, you choice of the bugbuster is not a bad one. The 30mm tube "true strength" series are better able to survive longer on a springer, but may be over your top price limit. Keep in mind most people who have shot springers have a small graveyard of dead scopes after a few thousand rounds have been fired.

I only tried one springer, gave it to the neighbors kid for lawn cuts. Scopes that have provided nice value on PCP' s 2.5-10x 42 Tasco Bugbuster, 3-9x32 Leapers, the Sniper line (Amazon) based on Leapers, Simmons 6.5-20x42 You can find 40.00 range pumps, and the Maximus will save you in aggrevation, scopes, and cash in the long run

Just for a reference I am including a picture of the Maximus from Benjamin. It has the brass trigger mode with the two trigger adjustment screws. It has the commonly done double barrel band as well. The lump on the end of the barrel is the TKO lead dust collector, and it makes it rather quiet. A scope made by BSA sits on top. I know everyone has a budget but I have owned several what I thought were "poor shooting guns" only to find out they had poor glass on top of them. Do whatever you can to spend as much as you can for glass. It makes the whole experience so much better in the end for the shooter. 

I have the utg bug buster 3-12x32 I am amazed how good this scope is for the money I have 2 on my edguns I just looked on amazon you can get one it comes with mounts for $79 great deal and scope for price point. John
