my cousin and he's daughter both got 7 points with my dragon claw opening weekend.. now they want there own air guns lol

Yah I didn't have any luck this morning either. They cut the corn in my honey hole while I was setting this morning and only one small doe came out. The main rut is about over and now need to find spots in between cover and food to find a decent buck. Or find a good pocket of does for the secondary rut in early December. Little harder hunting now with less activity and those does will start bunching up!

Oh yah your right about the Texan! It's a huge improvement in feel and accuracy! I'll be calling for some yotes after deer season and the Texan will be on duty again!

They have been picking the corn field across the tracks from my stand today and tonight. Maybe one will sneak my way in the morning. A lot of the does have herded up around here too. I have a couple purple top turnip food plots. This is the first year they amounted to anything. They are about the size of tennis balls. The deer have eaten the tops off and are now digging the turnips up. Hoping they last till ML season.

SWEEEET !!! Congratulations 😝

I'm really hoping to do the same this year my first year with a big bore airrifle!

2017 I did it with the muzzle loader. Took a 9 and a 8 pointer but the air power is so much more gratifying. I still have my combo tag and a doe permit to fill and going to hunt my ass off on my vacation starting tomorrow!
