Meopta Optika5 Rimfire (model 1032565) Z-Plus Reticle, Side Focus

Have you tried Camerland? I have bought most of my Meoptas from them. Doug has always been great to deal with.

Got tired of waiting for them myself. Just got a Athlon Argos HMR 2-12 as an alternative. Seems ok, didn't wow me. Wish I had been more patient and waited for the Meopta offering. The Argos is useable and has a good warranty but the glass doesn't warrant the price so far. I must admit that I haven't mounted it yet and I might like it more at that point.

I was on B&H Photo's email list for the Optika5 and the delivery dates kept getting pushed back to the point I said F it and bought the Athlon. Think I will try an Optika5 when they actually get here.

That Athlon should be crystal clear and bright since its a $299 scope with 6 fold magnification IMHO based on price.

I would just send it back for a refund and buy the nicer scope that YOU want. (Or sell it at a loss on the classifieds or better yet on EBay lotsa idiots with plenty of cash buy airgun stuff there and pay a lot more than they should you might even make money selling it over there)

I met a guy on the Meopta FB page, I will reach out to him for you and see what he can find. A buddy of mine and I have the Meopta Optika5 3-15x44 Plex reticle and I also have a 4-20x50 Z-Plus reticle on a CZ 22LR. 

This Item has not been produced yet. You wont find it at any Meopta Dealers. The reason you can find standard reticle Optika5 scopes and some higher Power Optika5 scopes is that Meopta focused its production on "hunting" Optika5 scopes. I am told that "May" is a reasonable timeframe for production of this and the other Optika5 PA scopes to start hitting the US.

However, if you wait till these scopes are available thru a dealer, you will have to wait longer than that. Dealers have been placing advance orders for this and the other PA Optika5 scopes since last fall. So there are a lot on backorder right now.

My suggestion to buy one of these scopes is to contact your favorite Meopta Dealer, ask them if they have this scope on order. If they do then ask them if you can place an order against their Meopta order. If they don't have it on order, then ask them to order one for you. This will still be a better option than continuing to scan the internet stores.

I can't wait to see the pics when you get the Optika5 scope. That will dial in great on your set-up. It is just the right weight to not upset the balance.

DVOR is NOT the cheapest I seen Meopta brand for but the other much cheaper places out of stock anyway.

I'd really worry if they are going out of business or something due to all the half price or less they sell the brand for and the vendors still half price till all sold out and don't seem to maintain restock.

If you paying full retail MAP PRICES then they really need your business to stay in business keep up the good work.

You can find an Optika5 3-15x44 which isn't much larger and can be found pretty easily. The proverbial bird in the hand if you will. I hope you'll post some full rig pics when you get the scope, that will look awesome with the Meopta blue ring. Al can probably help you an Optika5 3-15x44 scope. 

Hi, this is Al. I am a Meopta sales rep covering lower halves of TX and LA. There have been no Z-Plus reticle Optika5 scopes shipped thus far. We are hopeful that they will start shipping in May/June. Again, my suggestion for anyone wanting to buy this or any Optika5 or Optika6 scope is to go to a local dealer and ask them to put thier scope on order with Meopta USA. Worldwide demand is causing a shortage in product availability. 

Mr. Al is above. He would know what is going on and if you are serious about getting a Meopta scope I would take his advice. I have the 3-15 and 4-20 Optika5's. Love em.
