Now THATS an impact! Awesome work there mate! And thanks for sharing all the detailed upgrades. Not saying that i will grab my Dremel now, but i sure learned a lot about the internals of an impact. Keep up the works!

Hobyman2007 and I just got in new TJ's in .172 to play with. We just did a project with have .223 liners from another company. Finally got mine shooting well. Hobby has success instantly.



I have TJ's in .257, .250, .223 and now .172. I love Mike Saysers of TJ's Work. I have them in a Talon/Dor and Evanix RS !! an use NSA and D-Rigs Varmint Knockers, but mostly I cast my own from modded molds I re worked from NOE, Whom I am now working with on a few new designs.



The .25 and .257 HP's that I cast are devastating on vermin and ultra accurate. They look very similar to Nicks of NSA, and we have talked about this a few times.



I am very anxious to see the full results of your work on this project. I am very interested in either an Impact or the US Built high power AG being produced by JSAR. It has a lot going for it.



These are the .25's from the TJ's barrel at 960 fps at 4o grs.

When it all comes together with such stellar results, it is a wonderful feeling for sure. Great work Sir.



Yes Greg, they are from a decked 84 gr ranchdog NOE mold, that I sent Eric at Hollow Point Mold services and had the deep cavities done. the are decked and sized in mirror polished sizers to be able to size down from .260 to .250 without issue. Normally this would distort the bullets, however, after polishing the interior of the

sizers, not an issue at all. Using imperial sizing wax, along with the polished interior, they go thru like butter on a hot skillet.



They are now 49.3 grs and sized to .2512" shooting at 96- to 990's depending on tune.



the TJ's .172 barrel is an HMR .17 barrel liner and will be shooting the NOE 23-4 gr. bullet and the barrel will be heavily carbon fiber wrapped in thick walled twill tubing. Much like Edosan has done here with the Silver surfer. 



Man I would love an Impact or JSAR Raptor. Sadly, being medically retired, not going to happen for a long time. GRRRR!!!
