I just received my maverick about an hour ago, threw an old junk drawer Nc star 10-40 on it. 
I can say that it shoots better then me, with the sun fading fast I hurried to sight it in and shot a five shot group at the last at 50yards. No bipod, no bag just resting on my front porch railing. My thumb is covering one shot that was a sighter.
