Mauro Marocchi and AoA

I received my RedWolf a couple of months back in a padded cardboard box. Online I saw that they came with a case and moderator but mine did not. At EBR I had the pleasure of meeting Mauro Marocchi of Daystate. What a gentleman! I enjoyed talking with him for a few minutes when he asking why I had my Redwolf in an FX case (from my Crown). I relayed to him that I hadn't received a case or moderator with the gun. Right away he turns to another gentleman and Mr. Buchanan of AoA and said that he would be sending a case and moderator for me to AoA and when it arrived to be sure to send it to me at no charge.

Today, the box came in the mail with a RED case and a RED Huggett moderator.!!! The folks at AoA went out of their way to ship this to me. They called to make sure I was expecting it and tell me that it was on its way.

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to AoA for doing this for me. They sent this package at their cost to honor Mr. Marocchi's request that I receive it at no charge. That is above and beyond service from AoA and I want to make sure everyone knows how they treated this customer.

And Another THANK YOU to Mr. Marocchi for his time and for being a generous and delightful man. It was an honor to meet you and spend a few minutes talking with you. I appreciate your friendliness and your generosity. Daystate is on my list for Best guns and service to the airgun community.

That's fantastic, Bill!

I paid an extra $100 for the Huggett on my RedWolf 22HP and didn't get a case... This year I spent a lot of money on Daystate (LC110 compressor & RedWolf). Both are GREAT products, that's for sure!

However, I did get a nice surprise from AoA. One week before EBR, I had to cancel my trip do to illness. AoA went above and beyond and sent me a refund. What a "wow factor" I was not expecting that at all.... Phenomenal company!

For me Daystate has let me down with their cases and lack there of.

Purchased my first Daystate back a few years ago. A Standard Renegade in Green composite, came with a great case that allowed for a mounted scope and accessories. Happy as a clam.

Next, I purchased an HP Renegade in .25, gun shows up in a longer narrower case that you cant mount more than a pencil size scope on the gun if you want to use the case. I was expecting a case of similar height to my first Renegade. No dice, bummer for me because I need a case to transport my guns to the field.

So I save up some cash and get a RedWolf, no case at all. So the more I spend the less I have received as far as cases go. Love the gun but disappointed on how I have to lug around a huge case not designed for it now.

My feeling on the matter is, offering a nice case can sometimes make or break a deal. Glad you got all the goodies from AOA and Daystate Crusher just wish it doesn't have to be a "one off" experience.

But I have only spent 7k on Daystate guns and mags so maybe i haven't yet reached the status needed. LOL
