Ok I just bought a maurader in .25 cal and a benjamin pump I'm pumping and the two gauges don't match the rifle says 2500 and my pump is say 3000 whitch one do I go by?
Had the same problem with my Discovery and the pump. I always go with the one on the gun after i upgraded to a tank with a gauge they both match up so the gauges that they put on the rifles should be pretty reliable don't know so much about the pump. Also if you have a chorno-graph the .25 cal marauder should have a shot count of around 20 shots per fill so you could shoot it over the chrony and then see where it drops off which would then give you the answer. If you don't have a chrony i would just go with the gauge on the gun. Leo : )
Go with the pump gauge!! Marauder onboard gauges are notoriuos for being inaccurate. I have owned and still own alot of marauders. The gun gauges are junk!! I always replace the stock gauges with mcmaster carr gauges.
I believe the WAR gauges are from mcmaster. I build alot of marauders, so I buy bulk from mcmaster and have yet to get a bad gauge. Not sure why Crosman can't put a reliable gauge on their guns?
Ok thanks guys I thought mb I was doin something wrong they match up yesterday I tapped on the gun gauge and it moved I think I need replace it thank u for the link
ajshoots is quite accurate. My gauge and just about every review you read says the gauge is off. I use my gauge on my tank when filling. If you can trust the gauge on your pump, you may not have to run out and change your gauge right away.
