We will be waiting to see ( but hopefully not 9 more years ), even crosman's page list different things.
Crosman " .177 50 shots". " .22 80 shots". hum.
Normally .177 is used in FT, .22 ( or larger but nothing over 20fpe and a 1/4" KZ would be right hard with a .25 ).
It does seem this is to be there target rifle, BR, FT, Back yard paper .... .

Nothing technical about installing a reg in a marauder, yes you may or may not wish to adjust the psi - most can be ordered pre-set- but if you simply drop in ( NO adjustment ) at whatever speed it shoots should be within 10-15ES. If that # doesn't suit you it takes well under 5 minutes to remove - an after market unit - adjust and reinstall.
Now IF you adjust it correctly efficiency willl increase, lighter striker AND adjustments will improve efficiency even more and it may have a better shot cycle.
