Maryland

I lived in Maryland for 45 years but now live back in my home state. But where are you living in Maryland? Because when I lived There it was about 20 miles south of Baltimore and we could just go around the neighborhood shooting them and nothing was ever said. We’re talking the mid 60s though. And I never hunted in Maryland with an air gun and don’t know what the laws are about that. But even today in that area there are plenty of places that you can shoot.

Hey everyone, just moved back to the states from the Virgin Islands. I've been shooting iguanas from my porch for the last 5 years. I'm in Maryland now, so where do the airgunners go or meet so they can hunt or just target shoot.

Vernon

You need to cross the Bay bridge and make some friends on the eastern shore. A meca for hunting, fishing and don't forget the Crabs. Good luck.

Wow, I lived in Hanover for 20 years. Right there where Arundel Mills mall is that was all woods that was old farmland And you could walk for miles in that woods. And right on the other side of 100 across from Arundel Mills mall where the industrial park is was all woods that I hunted too.Just for target practice I used to go down along the railroad tracks and shoot. The train tracks go right through Hanover. I do know other secret places I guess you could say but it is hard to explain exactly how to get to them. Actually one that I’m thinking of right now is on Hanover Road. But It might be hard to find now because the road that takes you back to these two ponds is Pretty much grown up now I think. But it’s right before the overpass where the Baltimore Washington Parkway that crosses over Hanover Road. Probably just 50 yards before the parkway. I used to fish there and shoot guns there.I used to know a lot of places in that area but it keeps getting more built up down there every couple years that I go there it looks different. But once you start getting close to Elkridge which isn’t that far at all there’s still a lot of woods.

I am in the Gwynn Oak area and used to go shoot at Hap Baker shooting range in Westminster, but they just upped their daily fee from $15 to $25. I think that is a little steep so I just snipe pests from my window when I am able.

There are many airgun hunting opportunities on MD public land, you just have to venture out farther because most of the game management areas close to Baltimore and DC are archery only.
