March 5x40x56 Box test

Not trying to be negative or sound jealous of someone that can afford such a piece of equipment but for what a March scope costs it had better track perfectly!! I could only wish to be able to own a scope of that caliber. Also I shoot field target where there are many high end guns and optics and I can assure you that just because a shooter has a small fortune in his equipment it dosn't make him or her a great shooter!! Have a wonderful day!! J.L.

Its quite simple, people will generally pay more for their wants than for their needs. If everyone could afford a March scope they would, they are the perfect air rifle scope. Power to ones that can and do own one, whether you are a good shot or not! Do I need one, no. Do i want one, yes. One day, provided I live long enough to save up for.

Cheers, it's all good after all my opinion is free and worth the same!

Generally the more you pay, the more reliable the function, the better the glass, the higher the fit, finish, and feel of everything on the scope goes up. Then at a certain point the diminishing returns thing comes into play.

Disposable income, some have it.

That being said I won't be buying anymore high end scopes and will hopefully be able to keep the ones I have. They are very nice but for most of my purposes on an airgun they aren't needed, especially when there are choices that are getting closer to the expensive scopes in their feature set's and function for $$$$ less..
