marauder pistol - 1720 baffle difference?

On a P-rod carbine thread I ask a question. And now wonder more but didn't want to derail the P-rod thread. I was told there is a air stripper in the marauder pistol vs just bushings in the 1720. ( not exact quote) these are my words after looking at the two pistols schemes. Does the air stripper cause accuracy changes? It would seem the additional quietness of the p-rod would be something desirable for the 1720. So there must be a trade off. Is there? I do wish my 1720 was quieter but don't want to add length. I shoot it as a pistol offhand to me its a handful without adding a mm.

thanks

oldsparky,
The Prod has an air stripper only. It is twice as long as the air stripper in a 1720T. It is partitioned in the middle with the o ring and has vent holes on both sides of the partition. The 1720T has a short air stripper similar to an Mrods. The 1720T has two baffles and a spring as well. Prod, no baffles or spring. If you want to remove the baffles, spring and air stripper from your 1720T and try the Prod air stripper by itself I have one you can have. I would need a PM from you for your address. I don’t think it will be quieter without the baffles though.
