Marauder Gen II Pistol Question: Accuracy???

About 5 or 6 years ago I bought a new P-rod "Gen I" pistol. It had all the attributes that I wanted and liked. It was short, light, .22 cal, and a great 'go to' PCP. However, accuracy was the stumbling point. I couldnt get better than 1" to 1 1/4" groups at 25 yards. After trying many, many different pellets I just gave up on it. I sold it, took the loss and didnt look back. No, I didnt try to tune it because of the groups it was giving me didnt hold much hope for good end results.

The bug bit again and I called Crosman earlier this week for information. They tell me that the Gen II P-rod will give me consistent 30 yard groups measuring 1/4"! My questions to P-rod Gen II owners: Have you been getting these results, (1/4" groups @ 30 yds), with your P-rod? What pellets does yours like? Did you get these results without tuning and tinkering?

Please let me knpw what you have experienced, I dont want to repeat my mistake of 5 years ago.

The person I spoke to this morning didnt identify herself. She picked up after I dialed 585-657-6161. I asked her for info on the P-rod, and she gave me answers to my questions. The purpose of my post here is to see what results other P-rod owners are getting with recently purchased pistols. I know that it very unlikely that anyone can shoot 1/4" groups at 30 yards offhand with this or any other pistol. I'm talking about 5 shot groups with shoulder stock attached, and shot from a stable benchrest.

Half inch groups at 30 yards from a benchrest would satisfy my requirements nicely, and I see that accuracy has been reported in the responses to my inquiry. Thanks much for the responses and discussion. Now I have the information I need to make a decision.
