My name is Bill Greathouse. I have a small shop with 4axis CNC mill, lathe and other supporting equipment. I recently purchased Jim's barrel equipment and have been making drop in for marauders and a couple for FX Impact. Jim and I have known each other for a while and I've helped him out in the past, with some of his parts, when he had gotten back logged. We live in the same community and that made it convenient and easy. Jim had approached me with buying War but due to a large expenditure on machinery, my purse was too light. Some time later, he approached me with the prospect of taking over the barrel aspect of his business and that was within my business budget. So, I purchased his equipment and tooling. I was familiar with his process but lacked the intimate knowledge that he had kept close to his belt. Now I have that secret sauce so to speak and have been making barrels for a couple of months now. It is likely that he will give permission to use his mandrel to produce a barrel. IIRC, he let me use it once for a customer who was an avid consumer of his product.
