Marauder Backyard Pest Control 9

Nice shooting & vid. Looks like you were about 35-40 yards out from kill zone?
As far as scopes, hard to beat clear glass with a refined radical !
I always show the death dance in my vids because these adult California ground squirrels I dispatch are tuff and will take a massive hit sometimes and crawl dead as a door knob back to there hole if it is near enough. Showing the death dance is a sure sign to those concerned if it was really a ethical kill and not just wounding a animal. Adult Cali ground squirrels get about 3-4x larger than the good eating ones in your vids. Graphic yes, but most people who have hunted GS pest know they are not dead until they give up the ghost.
keep up the good work! And that new .25 is really going to anchor them down .

Thanks Nappyman :) From muzzle to head is 30 yards when they are in front of my shed and 25 yards for the tree. I have eaten these city squirrels once before and I'll never do it again. I have videos of them eating food from the trash and you can taste the difference in the squirrel. I believe in one clip in this video you can see a biscuit in front of my feed pile they drug in from the trash. I'll eat country squirrels all day long, but these city boys go to the feral cats in my neighborhood. I like keeping them around because they kick the crap out of my neighbors eight Chihuahua mix dogs when she lets them out at 3 AM every morning.

Wow you have so many squirrels! Too bad you can't eat the darned things. I'm lucky in that I live in a subdivision by a creek (lots of free flood plain land) and the squirrels like to eat natural buds, seeds, etc out of the oak, elm and pine trees (plus the corn and peanuts from my feeder). However, I can only take about 5 or 6 a year before others move in. Thanks again for the video. Good luck with the new air gun. I'd sell my Marauder and the Air Force Condor to pick up an HW 100 in .25 cal but they don't make that yet. .25 caliber tears up dove (use my .22 cal springer for those), but its devastating on everything else. We will see. So many airguns so little time LOL!

I live in Michigan and I'm in the country and we see more black squirrels than grey but more fox squirrels than both of those combined. Where we hunt squirrels is by a hardwoods and there's a lot of fox rarely see a black/grey but where I live surrounded by cedar and pine trees and a swamp there's 4 grey squirrels 5 blacks and 3 foxys coming to my bird feeder. Can't wait for squirrel season this September.
