I found that picture that you posted it looks a lot like the regulator I have.
I put new orings in, I put the washer on the two ends facing out and the others facing each other not sure thats right. The gun not weaking anymore. Guess I need to do a chronograph test on it. Regulator looks like the picture you sent John the washers are all facing each other. I made the Mistake when I took it apart not watching how they were in there.

"Csbrown5"John the regulator only had eight washers in it I can take it apart again and take better pictures of it
Thanks for that picture
Steve
Mostly likely with only 8 bellvilles they were all "opposing". (Flat side down then up then down all the way to end. It should not matter if you start up or down as the stack will still be the same length. If you have any shim washers start with a flat down so that way the shim washer is between two flats. If you put it between two curves or a curve and the end it could (if the hole is slightly larger then piston as they usually are) make the stack shorter since it would "ride" up the curve when compressed. This would give you a lower output pressure.

"Csbrown5"John my other question is when you have a regulator, what psi do you pump it up to? or does it matter
Steve
With the regulator you can pump to any pressure above the set pressure as long as you don't exceed the tube max (3000psi). If you set reg at 1000 psi and fill gun to 2000psi you will get "x" number of shots. If you then fill to 3000psi you will get double the shots (at same velocity) That's one of the great benefits of having the regulator, flat shot string over the entire pressure fill above the set pressure.
