Thanks survivor45. I drew the plan on graph paper and cut out a buck and doe. My wife freaked out and had me make a slew of them. She gives them to her friends. Sometimes it’s better to keep your ideas to yourself! Haha

Here are my drawings on the graph paper. Just place them on consecutive sides of your 4x4 or 4x6. You can enlarge or reduce on a copier. Cut the front on view first in one side pass. Tape those sides back on for a flat surface, then cut the profile. Voila, you’re done! You can alter the doe ears forward.

Man they are good looking. As many said it would be sad to shoot at them until the first pellets hit them.

One foot red oak 3/4 inch, scroll saw, backing, carve pieces, paint, puzzle!

The cutting is just the first step lol. Then you have to carve them and paint them. My dad spent hours woodcarving. It would be a shame to shoot them after all the work tbat goes into making them.
