How many of you would be interested in the Discovery HD scopes with a 34mm tube if they had a simple reticle like this?

I'm trying to get the manufacturer to change the reticle of this Discovery HD 4-24x50 34mm to a more simple one that they already produce. Arguing for many different types of reticle will not help the cause. Do you prefer the illuminated reticle or no? HD= high density glass.

I think this scope would be the best bang for the buck by a wide margin and sell like hotcakes. This scope was $375 last night. I'm sure we could get the lower price back.

The old reticle was fine to me. The one you propose would be fine as well. I know there are uses for the IR but I much prefer simplicity, reliability, and lower weight. I've been interested in this model but it only focused to 15 yards. Focusing to 10 yards would be much more preferred than the IR.

I've been hoping to pick up a 5 - 25 HD but can't find a source other than AllieExpress. Don't care for them so I still don't have one. I know that EdgunWest sells some models and that's great but he doesn't offer the 5 - 25. More availability will sell more .

I really think there is a good market for an FT scope 30x or better that has good glass, is reliable, simple, not too heavy, and affordable. Not sure why it takes $2500 or more to tick most of those boxes.
