Mad Squirrel Edition of the Hatsan AT44-10 .25cal

I must say Baxter your videos are some of the finest and interesting of all the airgun hunting videos I watch! A Heartfelt Thank you for the effort and time you invest in the airgun community!!

But I must ask this question, Why the fascination with Hatsan? Aren't all the mods you have to do to them expensive? and Time Consuming? and Stressful?
Why not just buy a Cricket, that comes stock, with moderator, bullpup, and regulator, no additional mods necassary. And for a used one usually only 1000$

Which is what the gladius costs brand new, without regulator, and seems to me fairly wasteful with air, and probably not as accurate as the cricket, Anyways, maybe I'm totally off on everything, but would certainly be greatfull for a response either way.

Well its an hobby for me, and Hatsan has never given me a reason to switch... The Cricket .25cal is $1400 The Hatsan full mod with reg is $850 and that is with the nice walnut bullpup stock...... At the end of the day its .50@50 and under an inch@100 what more can I ask for? The weight is the same, the .25cal Cricket comes in at 7.65lb with out scope so thats a 9lb bullpup with scope? Mine is 10lb with scope....At the end of the day your never see the rifle that I am shooting only the results... and that is what I look for...... the results. Now if I can get great results with something that can save me a few bucks and put that savings into a nice vortex range finder or a nice 6 or @700 scope and pellets and hunting gear to make my hunt nice and sweet, then I'm all in. Hope this helps
