So first I find the bolt pin broken but was able to locate 3 and easily replace the broken one. Worked great for a bit but now I find the end of the bolt no longer attached. Guess I’m lucky to have it, as it wasn’t fired downrange with a pellet. Will reinsert easily, any ideas on how to keep it properly reattach?

Something does not look right there. Looks like an after market pin was screwed in and is now stripped out?

Actually no, all was normal before the bolt pin breakage. I was guessing that the tip loosened as a result of replacing (tapping) the new bolt pin in place, which fit fine. The bolt is pulled back to show the new issue, but here’s another pic.

Ouch no threads! If it still fits snug some red locktight or some kind of epoxy would probly werq. Otherwise of it is loosy goosy and steel you can use a hammer and punch. Tap it on three sides to warp it out of shape a little so it has an interference fit. Or you might be able to run a small pipe cutter around it in a couple of spots, once again if it is steel, to tighten things up at the risk of dulling the blade a bit.
