LW Poly .22 un chocked barrel could not perform

How many different Pellets did you tested!?

The LW Poly barrels need to have 3-4 hundred pellets shot through it

then clean it very good and then look at your groups to see if there's any

improvement on the group size . Don't give up on it too soon . 

Remove the barrel, clean it, and push a couple of pellets through it. On my 177, it was a little uneven in bore size and shot mediocre. I tapered the breech end a small amount and lapped the unevenness as carefully as I could. Remember that the tightest spot in the bore needs to be the muzzle exit. I finished up with a light polish with JB Bore compound and cleaned well. Shoots extremely well and pellets don't blow in the wind near as much as my choked barrels. 

I hope to work on a .22 barrel I have to see if it will be as good.

I would say your velocity is going to be part of the problem.

I would also agree that the pellets may be being shot to fast for best accuracy. Try it in the 880 - 900 range and see what happens.

Also, a barrel is a big part of accuracy, but my sense is, and I've heard this from others with much more experience than me, is that you can't expect to plop a good barrel on a gun and have it shoot great. There's other things involved like how the trigger is, how consistent the fps is, etc.

I agree with the above, SPA P10 it's not very consistent in FPS, also I think that 1000 FPS ot's too much for the 18's, I would tune it down and regulate it (if it's not), if it's regulated, I would check that to see if the reg is performing like it should, I would bring it down to max 920 FPS or to 860/880 FPS also doing what was suggested, like lead in barrel and a good clean, also check pellets deformations, P 10's mags are not the best, at least down here in SA, they can cause pellet deforms.

FWIW, my RAW tm1000 had a lothar walther poly barrel in it and it was incredibly accurate from the first day and i never cleaned it. 

cam44, that raw barrel is special and was hand lapped etc.. just machining & cleaning & install wont give the same results.

mubhaur, have you checked if the mag is not damaging the pellets? there for causing the inaccuracy?

Did you try shooting at lower velocities? 

I have a P-10 Not sure what it has for a barrel but 
I do know it is choked from cieaning experience! ots 

Shoots Great at 820 FPS. It is a.25 not .22 .25cal 30 yds 9 shots inside a dime! Polymags!

the next logical move is BSA or? The barrel lottery at its best isn’t it. You had a bad one, time for a good one next

maybe you can pass it onto someone for slugs? Slugs are very slow animals.

The problem maybe that you were pushing those 18 grain jsb pellets way way too fast. Why don't you try lowering the velocity on that rifle so that you can shoot those pellets at around 880 or 890 ft per second... 900 feet per second at the most! I think you will be amazed with the results.
