Low Fps with my new FX Impact 0,22

Dear all,
Since some days Im owner of the FX impact. I tried to get out the max fps, but Im not able to reach more than 820 fps with prefered H&N Barracuda Match 21,14 gr. I`ve set to MAX, the regulator pressure is approx 140 bar (according to instruction manual you should not set more than 150 bar).
The fine tuning valve knob is also set as much as possible.
However, I dont know if its possible to reach approx 950 fps, but it seems this is not possible to reach with this gun. I will also not use lighter pellets to reach higher fps.
Any idea what to do ?

Here are few suggestions you can try to get more power:

1. Try increasing hammer spring tension by adjusting power wheel pre-set screw. Ernest has video on it.

2. Verify regulator pressure with more accurate gauge. FX gauge can be off by 25 bar, at least one on mine is. If off increase reg pressure.

3. Get longer barrel.

4. Send it for a pro to increase air flow ports.

With stock FX Impact 22 my limit is about 860 with that pellet at 35 FPE.

Check this https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0Ph4Q8M-S89dkNXSFI2VG8xYTA/view I have the .25 and .22 barrel but I sent it to Ernest Rowe. It it's shooting great the mk2. Now I want to get the 25.39 gr pellet in .22 and try them .. I also ordered a new electronic gauge from Edgun West... this week it's going to be very cold here but when the weather gets better I'll try it..

I dont agree with the fact that the impact doesn't make big power. My .22 can shoot well over 1000fps. However the impact can be finicky and there are many things to check to make sure it is shooting optimally.

1) Like said above, make sure your hammer spring did not loosen. This will cause your fps to be lower than ideal. I wouldn't on a .22 tighten it as Ernest did in his video. This will be too much hammer tension for a .22. Instead I would just tighten it to the stock recommended settings which should be like 18mm. Check the speeds from PW4, 5 & Max.

2) If using the stock gauge, I would set it to slightly below 150. Probably about 1mm below. This I've found with most of the stock gauges to be right about an actual 140. (Side note, you can turn your reg pressure up to say 155 from the gauge on the gun. Then you will want to fill the rifle with air and pay attention to your scuba tank and when it reaches 140. Then go back to your gun and see where the needle is on your reg gauge. Mark this so that it is a true 140. Bottle gauge is much more accurate than gun gauge. Being that the reg on the gun is set higher than your desired 140, it will not stop below. Then unscrew your bottle and let the air out of the entire gun. Turn reg pressure back down. Screw bottle back on and adjust needle to the marking you've made that you know is 140.

3) Valve stem is too far open. This could potentially cause a loss in fps. More so it will just cause you to waste air and be inefficient.

4) something else could be loose in the gun. I've had this happen, but don't want to confuse anyone. If you want to PM or call, we could go over a few other ideas and probably fix the issue really quickly.

Hope you get this sorted out. Unless FX has changed something since I've gotten my gun, it should be more than powerful enough to get the speed up on the pellets you desire. My gun came as a .22 and I can get 860fps out of a .30 in a stock setup.

schoofsbock,

You say, "The fine tuning valve knob is also set as much as possible". Just checking. Do you have 4 lines showing?
