FX Crown trigger is adjustable for reach!

Just found out that the trigger post/rod location is adjustable....like a length of pull adjustment for the stock but for your finger length.

I had no idea and found this totally by accident. While shooting over the Chrono tonight I noticed that the trigger was loose and would move fore and aft.

So I pulled the stock and found a set screw to lock it back down....only took 1/8th turn. Then I realized that you could position the trigger rod where you wanted it! Being I have short fingers, I moved it rearward.

Turns out this also increased the leverage thereby reducing trigger pull weight. As soon as I find an Allen of the proper size I will add some weight back to it.

I've never heard of the trigger being adjustable like this so I figured I'd pass it along.

Speaking of adjusting FX triggers, how do I adjust the blade of the Streamline up so that it's not almost touching the trigger guard at the bottom?.

There is a little hex head grub screw on the side of the trigger shoe that you can adjust it up and down on the rod. I believe it is a 1.5 mm. It will also allow you to change the angle if you desire a different contact with your finger. I found the adjustment was needed when I changed stocks on my Streamline as it was fine in one stock but hit and would not allow it to cock in the other one. Tyler

It's a 1.3 mm (or 1.27mm) hex head on the side of the trigger shoe

Mmmm I have the same "problem" with my (brand) new Streamline. The trigger blade got loose.

Looks like this is the same trigger blade and screw as on the Impact. Here is an FX Airguns video showing how to adjust the trigger and trigger blade. The FX engineer indeed says that this is a 1.3 mm Allen key. Jump to 2'15''. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExDFm9Hqur0

Not sure what the adequate torque value is though. This screw has a very thin head, and I don't want to over-tighten it. Does anyone have any recommendation?

Just snug, you can always tighten it up later if it isnt quite enough. Finger tight.
