Looking for some input for a Crosman custom shop purchase.

Peep sight will give precision a bit more effortlessly than the blade sights. Of course field of view will be limited to your target, essentially. But if it's a target gun and you wont be using a red dot, that's your best option. If you're very skilled, or just want more of a challenge, you can go with blade sights. Honestly my eyes just arent good enough to be proficient with them anymore. (blades)

Muzzle brake will help balance the gun. I use a modular moderator (adjustable size) to balance my pistols.

I see no benefit or loss with a short vs long breech besides as you mentioned, additional sight rail length.

As long as you use pellets your gun likes, the accuracy should be basically as good as you could ask for.

1.Short breech is simply a shorter breech. You can still mount certain red dots or small scopes but is mainly for extra stabalization of the barrel,

2. blade sight is just preferred or not to the raised bead on the muzzle brake, key here is that the blade sight is designed to work with aftermarket peep sights as well as factory notched rear sights. If you decide on mounting aftermarket rear sights that mount on the 11mm dovetail recieve such as a williams peep you will need someone to modify the front bead to line up properly.

3. Notched over peep, well I agree with dude above just read his.

4.black trigger shoe. Obviously the color of your trigger is for fun. However I will tell you. If you want this option buy it with your gun. Buying it after the purchase of the gun from the custom shop will cost you more.

well all it is a fancy 2240 and what you what is like a 2300S but no wood grips and price

you can find 2300S models on Ebay for good prices 242.00+ and they come with power adjusters

now lets talk peep sight vs blade sight

there are NO pistol in the target type that have peep rear sights from the factory and if there is, it is a rare bird

the screw in post on the muzzle brake that are at the custom shop work just fine

the mounting of the Williams rear sight has to be done right, as in tightening the mounting screws a little at a time or it will tilt to one side, really they all till to the left no matter what you do but if done right it is a small tilt

custom shop grip frames have a trigger stop and most I have come with 2 screw side covers vs 3 screw that come on a 2240

if you what to save some money find one used, you get a custom gun without the custom price or a 2300S 

so what ever you pick enjoy your new pistol

Good one,mine said "Conquer Cancer"worked for me.

I took delivery of mine about 2 months ago. Very nice gun, but here is some learning: 1. I ordered it with the red-dot...which is a cheap piece of junk (bright red glare, and no settings to dim it. Broke in 2 days), no wonder it was so inexpensive. I replaced it with a great fully adjustable BSA red dot for only $35. from PyramydAir. 2. I should have ordered the longer size breech for the red-dot. This top loading gun is awkward enough to load a pellet correctly without having the sight in the way. The BSA mounts OK on the front of the rail, but it would have been better with the longer rail. I suggest you get the longer breech, even though you are getting the Williams sight. You may want a red-dot later. 3. I have read reviews from others who say the gun does not arrive with the Williams sight mounted, and some had frustration putting it on. That being said, after a few weeks I was able to shoot a 50/50 at 10 yards freehand. However, my usual score is 48/50 on a good day. Also, the gun took 2 weeks longer to arrive that stated. The wood grips look great. Overall, a very good value.

You could always cut and recrown your LW barrel to the length you wanted. You would want to be sure to cut it off square. The recrowning part isn’t as hard as you might think. this video has inspired me to want to try it myself and I‘ve been considering ordering a 2300KT with a LW barrel also. You can always start by cutting a 1/2” or so off the barrel at a time and recrowning for a few practice runs before cutting down to your ultimate desired length.

For me a Williams peep sight is strictly for a rifle and the Williams notched rear sight are for pistols. I have Williams peep sights on several rifles including my 2400KT which I have the peep sight mounted under a 3-9x32 BugBuster with see through rings. The setup isn’t for everyone but it works well for me. I like to shoot with both scope and iron sights and this way I can switch from one to the other as it suits me. As long as I remove the front scope cap I have enough clearance and field of view for shooting with the peep sight. I also have a long neck so the slightly more forward mount of the scope isn’t that uncomfortable for me. 

I installed a SuperSear which really improved the trigger a lot over the stock trigger it came with. I recommend them and will be installing them in all my Crosman 13xx and 22xx guns from now on. Very easy drop in installation. Only thing better would be to install a marauder pistol trigger group. 
I also added a power adjuster from Magnum AirPower. Which might be about the nicest power adjuster out there that I’ve seen. Haven’t had a lot of time to play around with it though. 

Custom shop pistols are well worth the price. You get an adjustable trigger, steel breech, high quality match barrel and anything else your heart desires. Accuracy of these is superb.

2300s on Amazon for 200 bucks. Nice sights, muzzle break, power adjuster. All and all nice gun. Just add a stock for 25 bucks.
