Anyone have one of these scopes? Looking for feedback on use for 100 yard BR use. Quality of glass, turrets and clarity at 30-40X?
Looking for feedback on Athlon Argos 10-40 BTR Gen 2

I have a gen 1 and it is a very poor performer for 100yd bench. I don't know if they updated the glass in gen 2,but there are much better options than this one. The glass is worse than the Talos BTR. My midas ones are crystal clear for me.
A midas tac might be a good choice or the ares etr. I am currently using a Bushnell nitro 6-24x50 for 70 yards and it is great at 20x. I keep a lower zoom to see wind flags.

Thanks for the feedback Doc but I really need the higher magnification than 32X because of failing eyesight. I noticed that this model has the highest magnification of any Athlon scopes. All their other models max out at 32X I think.

I used to have 2 the only reason I sell one is because I thought the glass had problems..but I keep playing with the one I keep..I it was that i have adjusted wrong the ocular piece...but keep in mind I used to shoot from 100up for that is great..don't know how it will work from 40y to 70y .
