Looking for compact scope for Brocock Contour xl s6

I just ordered the Contour and am looking for a nice light, compact scope with around 9-12x max. I will probably put my UTG 3-9 x 32 bugbuster on until I find something else. I would like to find something a little nicer, but have an absolute budget of $500 and a preferred budget of $300. I really like the looks of the Leupold vx2 ultralight 3-9x33, but it costs so much to change the reticle to mil dot or even better, their T-MOA Plus.
I will mostly be hunting small game and birds at 20-50yd, but also like to plink at 0-100yds (and more).
Any other recommendations for a light (definitely <15oz) and compact (around 12ish inches or less) in my price range?
Thanks

Hate to say it but the Leupold custom shop might be your best bet. They always say 4 weeks but usually it faster . If it's a must have on the reference points on the reticle then I'd say look into the Athlon scopes ...They have several series and a couple will meet your requirements. The Talos do its price in the 3_12 is one I enjoyed . They have nice reticles . Look em up on optics planet . . I am NOT a fan of optics planet but they carry the full line

The Clearidge Ultra RM is my go-to lightweight scope. It's just 12oz and fairly good at air rifle distances (for the price).

The ultralight leupold is a little better but the model with AO was more than I wanted to spend at the time. I bought a second Clearidge so I don't regret the decision.

I mainly use mine at 50 yards but it works well when I use it at 100 yards too.

Thanks zebra,
I'll look into the Clearidge scope. After receiving my rifle today, I think weight will be very important as an 18 oz. scope will increase the weight by 25%. The 12oz Clearidge wil increase the weight by 17%. I put my UTG 3-9X32 Bugbuster on it tonight (13.5oz I think), and it is not too bad for weight, but lighter would be better.
I'll shoot with the UTG for awhile and see how much I like the rifle, then decide how much I am willing to spend.
