There are a couple guys in Las Cruces and a couple in eastern NM. I think Queequeg is in corales area.

HI Jim, I'm down near Roswell now. Lived in Abq for 22 years but left 15 years ago.
I knew a couple guys who were into airguns up there. They were in their 60s then so I don't know. But when things settle down they were associated with the local hobby shop HobbyProz. You might go there and ask around. The paintball groups might be able to hook you up too.
