Looking for adjustable slug sizing die for .22

When I bought my huben k1 ( gen 5, 2018 model) from AOA, their site mistakenly called it a .223. Turns out, only the back 1/3 of each magazine slot is actually .223. I had a swage die made that produces .2225 diameter slugs. They fit perfectly in the mag but my suspicions something was off began soon after when I noticed how much more I had to increase the reg pressure to achieve comparable energies of other slugs I had tried like varmint knockers and the huben slugs I used to make before I broke their crappy swaging die, twice.

I'm looking to get an adjustable sizer so I can try making a bunch in lowering increments of .0005, and find which produces the best velocity at a given reg pressure (and stay accurate). I have digital calipers. I found some that say they work for diablo pellets but I want to be sure it works with slugs also or get one that does. I would need to be able to operate it by hand or use it with my Corbin s press. Once I figure out the optimal diameter I plan to buy a new die so I can skip the sizing stage. The die already produces extremely consistent diameters. I will of course share all info I learn and may later do the same with my .25 huben which has the tj slug barrel swap offered by Kelly over at krazy cool airguns.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Pics of huben, huben slugs I used to make and what I currently make, in that order. Huben slugs were 36.6 grains and the ones I currently make are 40.8 grains if any are curious. I can make them lighter by adjusting their length but I like em heavy and they entirely fill each mag slot without sticking out any so are therefore always fully seated upon loading, and therefore also do not jam when cycling, ever. One of the biggest advantages of my die and press I must say. I LOVE this gun for its capacity and power and I want to feed it only the best. Thanks for your help

@ Loren

I want to make a bunch in descending size increments. Starting at .2225, which is the size my current swage die makes them. So a magazine or two worth of .222, .2215, .221 and so on. Once I find the size that works best I plan to have a new swage die made in that size so I wont need the sizer anymore. That's why I want an adjustable sizer. I found this one that says it works for pellets but not sure about slugs

I have another solution if theres no way to do it without buying too many sizers. I have a mini lathe that can hold the noses of the slugs without denting them, then spin them and sand them with fine sand paper, using my digital calipers to check. I'll use a respirator to avoid breathing fine lead dust. I've already made a few like this, it's just a PITA.

What info you looking for? I'll tell you what I can

@bearbar

The first ones were made with a swaging die I got from huben. It made great slugs but was very slow to use and had a poor design that made them break easily, I went through two of them and only ever made about 2500 slugs between the two. I dont recommend them even though they made fantastic slugs for the huben. The others are what I make with my current corbin s press and swaging die that dave corbin custom made for me
