Looking for a PCP pistol in a form something like a Thompson Contender

John,

I checked the speed and with the 15 grain JSB pellet, the first shot is a bit low around 550 fps, but subsequent shots were around the advertised 600 fps. I suspect the regulator is not the best, but is fine for my intended range use of about 25 yds. It is loud though and certainly not backyard friendly at 123 DB. The pistol was intended to be sold with a moderator. The factory makes one, but regional restrictions do limit their inclusion. The barrel is threaded with an 8mm x 1.0mm thread. The shipping box has a place dedicated for one which is 1.2" wide x 4.0" long. The low sights limit the outside diameter to about an inch. After market adjustable sights and scope use will allow a larger OD. Another nice thing about the design is that both ends of the barrel is accessible. I am now holding 2" groups at 20 yds. , but I'm out of practice. I'm sure the gun shoots better.. I have a set of pin gauges, so I will check the barrel diameters at the front and back. These dimensions are critical to pellet choice, accuracy and moderator construction. I'll get back here when I have them.
