Looking for .22 recommendations in the $1000 range

Smaug nailed it. R10 for sure. Its the most modern rifle of that lot and it just looks awesome.

Would maybe hold of a bit and se when the new version comes out in fac. Its going to have a different shroud and a much improved reg.

If i dont go big bore this summer then im getting a .177 or 22 R10 SE CCS.

Oh yea I think atleast one spanish retailer have fac R10 SE's so they might be in production now.

From your list my pick would be the FX streamline or BSA R10, because they are both regulated.

Another gun for under $1000 I would look at is the HW100. Krale Sports in the Netherlands sells them new for $900 with shipping you get a new German PCP for $950. Krale has excellent customer service.

Last if I were pumping a Brocock would be on the list. They are easy to pump and are air very efficient for a non regulated gun. With a Benjamin pump it took me around 50 pumps to get 21 - 23 shots from a 22 cal Brocock Contour s6. Whatever gun you choose I would recommend the 10 shots for $10. They test for any leaks or accuracy issues before shipping.

So, I ended up going with the FX Streamline. For $999 it really can't be beat when it comes to features. I loved the look of the Daystate but it isn't regulated. The BSA R-10 was a close second but I opted for the FX because there's a new "SE" version of the R-10 out in Europe now but not here in the US and I wouldn't have been happy getting the "old" version with the new one right around the corner. I'm more of a function over form guy so the Streamline ticked all the boxes for me. I'd get a nice wood stock all beat up in the woods anyway so synthetic probably is better for me anyway.

I ordered it from Jim at Precision Airguns and Supply. He was SUPER helpful and shipped it the same day! I'll have it tomorrow, in fact. :)

"Smaug"Congratulations on the Streamline. Do you have a moderator coming too, so it'll be reasonably quiet?
Yes. Jim actually fired the gun for me over the phone so I could hear it with the FX modular moderator compared to the Huggett he had in the shop. The huggett was quieter but not $220 quieter so I got my hands on 2 additional FX moderator sections to add to the 2 that come with the rifle so I'll be running with 4. Maybe in the future I'll spring for the Hugggett if this isn't quiet enough for the backyard.
