I'm looking at air venturi 100 cu in carbon fiber bottles at pyramid air. right in the description it says manufactured in 2017.so I'm paying full price for a bottle that will be 3 yrs old in a month? seriously?

AGD and PYMA use the same warehouse/order fullfillment center. The only thing I order from either of these enties are pellets.

I would recommend the 90 cu-in Ninja 4500 PSI CF bottle with EZ valve. It's up on Amazon from various sellers. I have one and love it. Check my post history for some pictures/comments.

If you dont like the price..dont buy it. Prymaid air isnt forcing you to buy it. There are plenty of other brand of tanks around. Shop around till you find one that suits your need. They ship their oldest tank first. So you probably get one made from 2018 or even 2019.

Mike, I agree with you. Why am I suppose to pay full price for a 3 year old bottle. I bought a 74 cu ft bottle from a local air gun shop. It was almost a year old and they knocked some money off it without me saying anything except thank you.

Got a couple from Acecare (China) and they are actually really good quality. Wanted to be sure before buying several for some friends and went to have the first one checked at a local inspection facility. The manager used to work abroad, visiting the different companies making these tanks, checking their procedures and quality controls to grant them some certification.... He told me he would certainly recommend those.

If you are buying tanks from China (Acecare, Alsafe etc.) expect ISO 11119-3 certification. This is good everywhere but in the US as far as getting it filled by a dive shop. If you have your own compressor, then you are good.

Acecare sells 2019 DOT certified 9L CF Tanks on eBay for $470.00 shipped including fill set up They offer DOT certified tanks for far cheaper than the USA made ones.
