looking 4 Most powerful n compact pcp

I don't think the Impact falls into either the most powerful or most compact category...

The question is easier to answer is you specify a range for either size or power.

Quakenbush made the outlaw pistols for a time in up to 50 caliber. These were small and powerful but not the most powerful pcp gun. American Air Arms makes the 357 Slayer - a relatively compact bullpup that puts out enormous power but it isn't as small as the 50 cal pistol.

The most powerful compact air gun I know about that you can still buy today is made by Extreme Big Bores. For $1500 they will make you a custom air shotgun pistol or air pistol for firing cast bullets at over 450fpe and over 850fpe if you run Helium. People hunt buffalo with those things.

If you don't need all that power, I would advise against it. More power means more noise and fewer shots. The air guns made by Quakenbush and Extreme only deliver 3 shots per fill. They are ok if you hunt bears but not great for backyard plinking....

"Gunnertrones"4 most powerful pcp you say........ AAA Slayer, the Bulldog.....you can't get around them....?
Even with an 81gr JSB .35cal pellet, the Bulldog is making around 100fpe. Though I haven't handled any other bullpups, I wouldn't describe the Bulldog as 'compact'. I believe that the barrel is actually longer than the barrel on the Marauder.

Bullpups are meant to have full-length barrels. Their design specifically allows this in a shorter package. The Bulldog isn't a particularly compact bullpup although it is considerably shorter than full length rifles with comparable power and barrel lengths. A longer barrel is one of the ways greater power is achieved. Carbine barrels reduce power.

The Bulldog isn't in the same league as the 357 Slayer in terms of power or size. The Bulldog is more powerful than many of the other commercial 9mm airguns currently available though. The Slayer isn't in the same league as the Extreme pistol. It's not my cup of tea but I can't think of any other air gun that beats the Extreme pistol for power and compactness. I am curious if anyone knows of any other in that league? "That league" being airguns with enough power to hunt bear and buffalo etc.

For anyone looking for a large increase in power, any PCP rifle can be filled with helium instead of air. Helium increases the power more than any mod I have ever heard of.

The Bulldog makes over 150 fpe with 81gr jsb's.

How fast is it slinging the JSBs? I haven't even shot mine since it came back from Crosman. I estimated 750 fps to be conservative. If its getting 150fpe for the JSBs it must be pushing them at 900+ fps! I'm liking the Bulldog more and more...

Mine averages 919fps for 5 shots. I feel Crosman is full of s*it claiming 10 shots. 10 shots has way too large of an ES. I think mine was around 85-95fps spread for 10 shots, but only 29fps for the first 5 shots. I believe the Slayer gets 6 good shots, but unsure of any fps or es numbers. If I wasn't such a tight wad with my money, I would buy a Slayer.

"hvack"Looking for the most compact pcp there is with as close to 50 fpe I can get and quiet, lease expensive as possible.
I read your post and it made laugh. Sounds like you're in search of a unicorn. The only airgun that would fit your length, power and possibly quietness criteria is a Mutant Short .30 cal or Cricket Compact .25 cal. Both are custom built and only 1 of each are in existence. The latter was recently sold on this very forum back on October. Maybe you can track down the new owner and made an offer. Otherwise you'll have to pay a heavy price and commission one to be built to suit your needs.
