Look what I got!!!

Here's my shot string on the Veteran straight out of the box no adjustments yet. Obviously room for improvement as far as reg adjustment but I'm very impressed! 45 shots on the regulator with a 14fps spread which is perfect for my needs. I'm debating bumping the power up to 890fps or once Ernest comes out with his videos how to adjust the reg I'll bump the reg down to the 860fps area.

Some accuracy testing after adding a new LDC compliments of Donny Du aka DonnyFl. I ordered a 7.75" long by 1.5" OD from him. When he shipped it he told me he was going to include a gift. So lo and behold I got the LDC but also he sent me one of his newest kinds called the SUMO! Turns out he said the first person to order one that day would get one of those in there order and I was the lucky one! I LOVE the looks of it on the Veteran!

The other one will be going one my Daystate Regal XL .25 which needs a better LDC BADLY. Anyways back to the SUMO let me tell you what this thing works! And he said it doesn't have felt in it which he was getting some and would send me it. I'm very impressed with it. Sound is easily same as my .22 was with an LDC on it as well. Plus doesn't hurt my accuracy whatsoever! 2 5 shot groups at 25yds.

"ackuric"I don't get the hype behind these being a bull-pup with rear cocking mechanism...but to each their own! Enjoy your new rifle.
Rear cocking mechanism is simpler; no linkages needed. That means reliable. It's just a matter of reaching to a different place.
I'd be more concerned with not having any kind of cheekpiece but the cold barrel. (and that's easily remedied with a bit of foam pipe insulation.

I think Mutants are pretty fairly-priced, as far as high-end bullpups go. Has something to do with Ukrainian labor, I'm sure.

D-boy,

The reg is set at 150b, around 155b it will start to have a rainbow effect or like a non reg gun, spread could be high if you include in the shot string. I wanted the shot string to be useful after it falls of the reg so I lowered the reg pressure till I got around 10 fps rainbow. I got 54 shots from 145 to 125b fill with 13fps ES 882 to 869 fps with 25g.

I turned the reg spring adjuster CCW 4 dots--remember mark your dot as a reference point. the veteran has a larger air tube so I couldn't use my reg tester had to do it the long way.

this what I got when I use a longer hammer spring and new HSTA with longer guide, 34g 870-885 fps thats max out with 17 shots from 240b to 155b with 25g around 970fps.

heres mine with nice wood, they improved on the finish--it's smooth without pores/pittings.
