Look at what's Hot off the Kraford and Lypt mill

I'm super excited to show off what Kraford and Lypt has set me for are fun shoot. As many of you know at many shooting ranges breach safety's are required when moving from bench to bench. This little devise is very simple. It fits into your gun as the magazine does. Locking your bolt open and clearly defining your gun is safe. No more having flags that use a rod sliding down your barrel, risking damaging your breach orings or failing your barrel.

Here it is showed in my Fx Impact.

I've alwise treated all PCP air guns as there are loaded. Weather or not they are. Becouse they are 1/2 loaded at all times. When a PCP is with out a pellet in the breach and/or no magazine in, what most people would say "safe unload gun". It still has air in the gun. I fill this has the capability to damage or hurt some body. This breach safety is one more way to insure are sport says safe as possable. Why not use one. I've alwise found it uncomfortable to walk down range to check my targets with 20 guns pointing around me. Even knowing there bolts are open and safe.

Stay safe

That is a nice piece and required where I shoot. The tiny flag I cut off and modified sort of werqs but that would be much better for sure. The branding on the flag is a bit much, it should say "Locked and Unloaded" on both sides. I thought the price was a bit much also but they went the extra mile it is machined and anodized aluminum so not so much. A nice plastic one for half the cost would be appreciated by many. If they want branding, in my opinion, it should be on the nicely machined block where it belongs. If the flag is changed, or an extra unbranded unit included, I will buy one. Thanks for the post.

I'm afraid I have to agree. $29 bucks for a chamber flag, and your doing their advertising is too rich for my blood. I have the same red flag on a PB tube a friend made on the cheap.

Not worth $29 bucks, sorry K & L. I have several of your products, and it was nice to meet you guys, but no on this one.

Eh, I don't think so....
A niche product like this that is domestically machined costing $29 is too much? I mean maybe, but it's not like some crazy price from left field...
I'm involved in some projects that are injection molding and I've seen the invoices with how much they cost. Even a simple mold... K&L would probably have to sell 2000 of those at $10 to break even. Do you really think the market is that big around one rifle?
Also not sure I get the complaint on the flag either, they designed it, why wouldn't they put their name on it? They have a quality parts so what's the big deal with their name on it?

Quick hack: The flag is just attached by a key ring, you guys can easily remove it and put a rainbow flag on it. Probably more up your alley... 😂
Don't be that assholes walking into a gun shop asking for a shotgun under $100 and getting mad when they don't have one.

After taking a second look I think it’s neat BUT with it in place the gun has to be cocked and the lever left open? I'm not so sure about that, think I’ll pass.

I would think that’s the point though. To show the rifle cannot be fired. It’s not like you are storing the rifle with this flag in it. It’s just for when the range is cold.
How do you show a chamber is clear if it isn’t cocked back and/or blocked?

Yeah I've come across this when I used to shoot my Boss or Royale at a range. They wanted the breech open on a cold range.

So cocked and open was "safe", after a while going there I would just show the chief range officer my clear bore and decock and close the breech. Safety on.

Well the picture is an impact in the case so I figured it’s also for storage. It does make sense at the range but I don’t go to the range, at least not yet. For range I would think a cheap orange chamber lock thing from a 22LR would work.

That’s what I use now, but it falls out/hangs very loosely. It’s kind of annoying. I’ve had range masters question it. A lot of them are sticklers and check every rifle before you can walk in the range. Once they see it can’t really fit they reluctantly have you just hang it off the side.
This one shows it fits nicely and you can connect a flag or something to it to pull it out. With that said, I wouldn’t see a need for it if to be used off the range.
