“frambonian”65 yard head shot on Mr. Squirrel with a .177 Stoeger ATAC. Just bought a FX Bobcat .25 so I hope to extend that significantly!

Update.  77 yards on a chipmunk with the FX Bobcat MKII .25

You all ready for this unmatched springer performance?

    34yds!
    .22 Benjamin Varmint
    Crossman Premeir Holopoints.

I actually missed the first shot by a smidge and he didn’t even flinch. Second one dropped him where he was.

Astro, that was a good day of hunting, and looks like a great spot.

146 yards witnessed kill on a ground squirrel using a .22 Cal. Greg Davis tuned Marauder. It took 2 shots only because I used the wrong mil.dot.

I bought this gun from AstroMan , and was a shooter. GD put a LW barrel on the gun helping the accuracy quite a bit. I later sold it to fund my purchase of my .22 cal. Hw100 FSB thumbhole stock . After try to shoot some non-lead ammo out of it , I sent the gun to AZ where he installed a STB and one of is LDC’s. The gun is more accurate than most shooters including myself on bad days. So far, 95 yards is the best for this gun.

Springer class  .22 cal. R1 full V-Mach kit . Californian ground squirrel , 108 yards. Dead still wind day. One shot one kill !

Is there a prize for shortest longest confirmed kill?  🙂
I can’t seem to be able to hit targets accurately at 50 yards or beyond, so I don’t yet try to “hunt” at those distances.
35-40 yards is about the best I can do to consistently and accurately hit what I’m aiming at.
Note that my “hunting” is limited to my own property.

    PCP
Benjamin Marauder Woods Walker (pistol) .22
23 yards – squirrl  braced against side of shed.
17-18 yards – skunk  braced against side of shed.
12-13 yards – raccoon  braced against side of shed.

    Springer
    Benjamin Genesis .22
    38 yards – crow  off a Tripod
20 yards – skunk  braced against side of shed.
17-19 yards – raccoon  braced against side of shed.
12 yards – groundhog  braced against side of shed.

Do I get extra points for being able to get within 20 yards of my prey?
…….or should I say, my prey getting within 20 yards of me?  🙂

All it takes is practice, practice and more practice. You must be a bowhunter, MMMMike.

It’s interesting how your springer record is better than your PCP record. :)
