Excellent shot Scott!! It worked nicely. I like how the pellet is visible the entire path to the Pigeon. That FX500 is awesome. Thanks for sharing  :)

Tofazfou nailed a ground squirrel with his TalonDor 257 at 202yds. It is difficult to believe, but possible with the right airgun system and lots of practice. This video is a year old but still one of the longest “confirmed” kill on a ground squirrel I’ve see so far.

the first bird saw that coming i swear but was too late. nice shot

personally mine just hit 96, id say 100 but the front edge of the tree is a little closer. no pics or videos, but was surprised because a gust hit just as i took the shot

Thanks

What planet are you from my alien friend? You’ve got serious big pests over there! And what caliber did you use to take that MOAB (Mother Of All Birds) down, a 122 Howitzer? :P ;)

Berky, if you don’t mind, a couple questions. First, @ what distance is your gun zeroed? Also, what was your mil-dot holdover for the shot? Thanks 🙂

Well I know you said video but I didn’t have it set up at the time. My longest shot for a long time was a greater long tail grackle on a wire at 103 yards. He fell over backwards and hung for a few seconds before he fell. Was extremely proud of the shot. But on 9/21/16, I went to the feedlot again and shot a pigeon at 137 yards. I was about ready to leave when I saw the pigeons. I ranged them and doped for the wind. The wind was much greater at the target because I saw the pellet hit the dirt. I continued making adjustments, or as I say, “I walked it in”. On the seventh shot I connected perfectly. No flying & dying just fell straight down.

Now I know some may not like that it took me 7 shots but that’s my story & I’m sticking to it. FX 500 .25 cal. Will be making a run to Phoenix in January to shoot pigeons for a week. Perhaps some videos at that time but until then continue your passion. Chuck in TX.
