Lockdown Pest Control

So with your ATN and the range finder do you ever miss your target? I've been thinking about this set up for the last few days. Just how far do you think is reasonable with accuracies. This would also play part time on a PB for coyotes.

Thanks for the quick video!

Thank you,

Ramon

Sometimes, yes. Usually down to my own inability to hold steady. When you're shooting outside, of course you still have to allow for wind, and that can cause the odd miss. If you input the data accurately, the accurate range basically depends on your rifle's accuracy more than your scope set up, I'd say. The range finder is called the ABL 1000 because it has a 1000 yard range. There's a 1500 model too. For PBs, I imagine they'd be accurate out to pretty extreme ranges.

Having said that, it isn't bomb proof. Just like a regular scope, it it gets a knock, it'll adjust your point of impact

What is cool though, if that if you're switching the unit between rifles, you can save zero profiles. All in all, it's a really neat piece of kit. You don't have to look far to find someone that's had problems with them (including myself - luckily I was able to fix it with the help of the internet), but when they do what they're supposed to do, they're awesome.

What regulator and hammer spring settings are you using? Also what pellet?

I mention the pellet in the video - JSB Hades. I have the regulator set at 125 and the hammer spring about 1 turn out from max. I'll be fitting a power plenum in the coming weeks, so I'm sure I'll alter my settings then.

Your videos keep getting better and smoother.

Love the electronic scope videos. I went with the PARD, but the ATN videos are what got me so intrigued with night vision and electronic scopes in the first place. Looks like yours is doing great for you. And that ballistic calculator thing is wonderful.

Thank you. I'm having fun learning how to make them. I don't have any other kind of scope cam setup, so it's the only way I have to capture that footage at the moment. It makes things so easy that it almost feels like cheating sometimes - but it's such a cool piece of gear.
