Little bit of shooting on my way to work!

I was sorta expecting Bob to nail one in flight 😀. I do some if this and it’s interesting. The pigeons very quickly learn what’s up. I’m convinced they recognize my car. The stealthier you can be the better. I like to shoot when the farmer is running equipment that almost completely covers the sound and if you can get hidden where they can’t see you even better. I typically shoot off them off the concrete silos and they will learn to land on the back side where I can’t get to them. You definitely can hear the pellet hit. Some of them fly off too.

They definitely recognize my cars, and so do the starlings. It amuses as I drive around the farm, the Robins, killdeers, mockingbirds, grackles, crows and redwing blackbirds ignore me, as I don’t shoot them, but the pigeons and starlings bolt. I told my friend and he didn’t believe me. So I took him with me he was amazed.
Check that not the killdeers, they raise hell whenever they see me.
