The gauntlet is good, but way too heavy. I took the bottle cover off and installed the Hajimoto bottle-barrel band, which wasn't done initially to save weight, but to protect the floating barrel from bumps a step missed by many manufactures. I removed the cheek riser and adjustment assembly and put packing foam in the cavity. The weight of the adjustment wheel alone is ridiculous. I got a budget cheek riser from eBay and upgraded it with some sticky backed thin foam that I had spare. I plan to go into the stock and cut away at it with my Dremel, but as it is now, it is lighter and can be put back to original condition.
