Hello, all. Just wanted to share my recent idea of where to use this 4’ extending shop light, made exclusively for under hood car and truck wrenching. I found this light on Eastwood.com, and if some of you do not know of Eastwood, they carry some really cool stuff for the do it yourselfer that likes working on car refurbs and anything automotive. Well, I bought this light on sale two years ago, loved it so much I bought a second one. I figured the extending feature would be good to clamp onto roof rafters if I ever have to crawl up into the attic for whatever reason.

But today, I found a better use for it. I bought two rope tie down brackets, anchored them to the steel cabinet above my gun maintenance bench top, extended the lights clamps out to catch the brackets, and lit up the area pretty good. Now, when attaching scopes and doing the level thing, I’ll see that bubble way better now. This light is all rechargeable, lasts about 4 hours on a full charge when using the brightest light, and I believe about 6 hours on the dimmer light. When plugged in to the wall charger, you can run it on high as long as you want.

check these out on Eastwood. This model was from two years ago, and at the time it was $39. I believe the style and lighting has gotten better since this model.
