Leupold side-focus scopes

After a number of internet searches, I recently sent the following question to Leupold tech support,

"Does Leupold make any side-focus scopes that focus down to around 25 yards or less? (This is for an air rifle.) Thank you."

The response from a Leupold product specialist,

"We do not have a side focus version that will focus down to 25 yards but we have adjustable objective versions that will go down to 10."

(I believe he is talking about the EFR scopes that focus down to 10 yards using the front ring.)

The one I had and @Matt247365 side focus VX Freedom 4-12x goes down to 17-18 yards.

Ask @Keahi the VX3i LRT side focus 6.5-20x and 8.5-25 he has focuses down to 25 yards both models at max power.

It's easy to reparallax them from the front objective side too for closer FOCUS but you lose infinity.

I'm glad to hear about the 50' adapters. I didn't know those were available. Thanks.

Just my take, but...As pcp rifles become more refined and some more reasonably priced, I hope that Leupold will come out with a couple of side focus scopes suitable for airguns. How hard can it be? Personally, I don't like the idea of buying a quality Leupold scope, and then trying to figure out workarounds.

Here is a link to a similar discussion that unfortunately supports the position that Leupold side focus scopes cannot be tweaked to focus to 10 yds.

Several years ago before there were so many great scopes that focus to short distances. I bought a high dollar leupold , think even then it was close to two grand. It had side focus , think down to to 75 yards or something like that. I bought the scope directly from them & had the custom shop set the parallax down to 25 yards. Well I got the scope and it would only focus to 10-20 yards.( something like that) I sent it back & they worked it on it again. This time it would only focus good to 30 yards, it was unusable from 35 on . . It is like the SF lost it range. I called them and they said that was best they could do or just put it back to factory setting's. I contacted Swarovski about adjusting the obj lens on one of their SF scopes w/SF that only went down to 75 meters or so. . They said they could only change 10 meters or less( like from 75 to 65) or something like that. If they tried to move it it anymore the SF would be all out of whack. Guess that was happening to my Leupold. We can adjust the obj lens carrier on scopes w/o SF & get good results but guess it does not work too well with SF. At least it did not work for me. As to those things leupold used to sell that goes on the end of scope, if they say 50 ft, that is where you have a clear picture , not at 30 yards @ 50 ft. What I mean is they are only good at the distance they say. At least that is what I found, trashed that idea too. But it might work great 4 u. Scopes are not made to look through they are made to drive us mad,LOL
