Lets see your home range

I'm sure this has been done before, but this forum moves quick and some may not have seen it.

I'm currently working on my range. I've always had places to shoot, but getting squared up on a range here after years of living here.

I've got 100 yards carved out, but the main part of the range is about 50 yards. I use it for everything from airgun to pistol, centerfire and rimfire rifle and bow... havent set up my archery targets yet, but will soon. Even got a throwing knife/hatchet target up. It's right outside my knife shop so if the weather is crap, I can see most of the targets from inside my shop. It's all a work in progress.

My bench for now is an old school desk I modified.

Edit.. trying to add pics. Keep getting an error

Nothing fancy here, but not too shabby either.
Really like that knife target, may steal idea.

Main shooting area, Have about 1/4 acre out back.

Larger tire mulch target. Usually stays at 30 to 33yards max. this is as far as I can shoot in my backyard, so I sight in here before pesting just in case gun is off.

@L.Leon You are correct, sir!

All the ranges look great. It was actually an earlier pic of Shams range that got me off my tail to start fixing mine up a bit. I've still not quite figured out how to put the stream running through it..haha

Hoping to find some more targets at the Hickory show this year. Need to set up my archery stuff as well and throw up a 3D target out there.

Thanks all for sharing!

Ya'll have some really nice home ranges to shoot at. I'm happy with mine, but I will tell you what, nothing like the 5 acres I used to have. Nothing ever, even then, as beautiful as Shambozzie or as spacious as Fuzz. I may be able to squeeze 40 yards in my Suburban home, but would have probably never discovered Modern Airguns if it had not been for living where I do now. Heck, I get a little Jelly when I see some of the guys that can shoot in their basements, I don't even have that these days. So, yeah, I feel Lucky and Blessed to have my 30 yard range.

Yes, I feel blessed too Christian. I used to have the beautiful brick home with pond in the backyard. But the home owners association pretty much ruined everything for me. Not to mention the divorce? LOL

We live in a simple 16x60 singlewide mobile home on three 0.75 acre lots and I'm happier here than anywhere I've ever lived in my life. Location is everything to me. Hundreds of acres of forestry service timberland behind us, and 30 or 40 acres of farmland across the street.

The place I had before was gorgeous though!
